Mischief!

Lately, when my dog and I pass this storm drain inlet on our way to our morning hike, she gets very animated and literally wants to climb down into the drain. I knew some critter must be using it to hide, but was not sure which kind of little bugger it was.

The other night, I was walking back from an evening appointment down the street and spotted a family of raccoons darting down this very drain. Now I know why Winnie gets so excited when we pass this inlet. Just had to come home and paint them!
