Description of Little Cottonwood circa 1900

The Cottonwood Canyons east of Salt Lake City are, and have been, a source of life for the valley residents. From being a watershed to providing natural resources, they continue to be life giving. I saw a painting (by Al Rounds, I think) similar to my rendition of this canyon. Al is one of my favorite artists and I always have tried to emulate his unique style of art. This is my rendition of Little Cottonwood Canyon circa 1900 or so, before modern development and ski resorts.
