Hosanna

One of my best friends commissioned me to do this painting of the Savior’s triumphal entry in Jerusalem. It was such a humbling experience for me … I loved the opportunity. We sing a sacred hymn in our Easter celebrations called, “all Glory, Laud and Honor” that describes the Holy Week events. About midway through verse #2, it says, “The people of the Hebrews with palms before thee went; our praise and prayer and anthems before you we present”. I hope that the sacred feelings of this peace brings the hope and joy that He promises.
