Tuscan Peace

One of my good friends asked if I would do a painting that was inspiring and peaceful without being of a religious nature. After a couple of weeks, this composition settled into my mind. The peace of the courtyard and soft colors of the region are inspiring to me. I used a more impressionistic approach to this piece to lend to the softness of the composition. Hope you enjoy it!
