Serenity on the Green

One of my favorite places to fly fish is on the Green River in northeastern Utah, just below Flaming Gorge Reservoir. I have painted several scenes of my trips there. Several years ago, I did a study painting with Jerry Yarnell called Turquoise River. There is a spot on the Green that is very similar to his painting, so I took what I learned from that earlier study using his lighting idea and tried to recreate that exact spot with this painting. We like to eat lunch there sometimes when we are floating the river. The drift boat is owned by my friend.
