Description of Montana dredge

In the past several years, I have had the opportunity to fly fish in Montana each Fall. One of the lakes we fish is on the Sitz bull ranch where a dam has been built (many years ago) creating a lake that is used as a water source for the ranch. Where the three creeks come together, a mining dredge was built at the turn of the century (1895-1900) that was used to mine for all types of precious metals. It was abandoned when the dam was built and is slowly decaying as the waters rise and fall each year. I took my painting kit with me last year and blocked in this scene of the old dredge on a small canvas board, then finished it when I returned home.
