Hangin’ out

This is part of a body of work I did while visiting Alaska this summer. This rowdy crowd greeted us each morning and evening. I took my traveling paint kit and a few canvas boards along so I could try to capture the spirit of our trip. Loved seeing and interacting with these majestic birds.

A shout out to the Pybus Point Lodge owned and operated by Scott and Jodi Jorgenson. They have created an Alaska experience next to none! The place is peaceful, the backdrop is simply drop dead gorgeous!
