Description of Aliza’s moose

I took my 12 year old granddaughter on a fly fishing adventure to float the “A” section of the Green River in northeastern Utah. She was a real trooper, surviving the fickle Spring weather (snow, hail, rain and wind). She was able to cast, mend, hook, fight and land many nice browns. In fact, every fish she caught was at least 18″ or more and she landed every one! On our way home, we drove through the Sheep Creek Geological loop (if you haven’t had that opportunity, you should … it is spectacular!). As we came through the bottom area, a yearling moose walked across the road just in front of us, and then posed for Aliza to take her picture. I used her photos to develop this piece. Fun time!
