Ruling the Roost (1)

I have had the opportunity to raise many chickens in my life. They all have very different personalities, but one thing they do have in common is that nothing is more proud than a ruling rooster! I used a very impressionistic approach to this painting. It is part of a body of work called “Ruling the Roost”.
