Description of Kirt’s corner on the Provo River
One of my favorite places to fly fish here locally is the Middle section of the Provo River in between the two dams up in the Heber valley. This is one of the first holes I ever fished on this section of the river, and I have had great success each time I fish it, so my friend started calling it “Kirt’s Corner”. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful stretches of the Provo River, with majestic Mount Timpanogos in the back ground. Anyway, I loved painting this scene … it brought back many fond memories.
